I get to play with new and intriguing combinations of stone and explore new ways of expressing myself. They also encourage me to experiment with new tools and techniques which then inform my larger works.”

Instead of replacing patio tiles broken during a move, Hammerhead create a “welcome mat“ mosaic and step for a client in North Asheville, NC. The design was inspired by a small water feature and Koi pond in their front yard, and Japanese block printing.
